  Miss Rymer Maxwell To Visit England Miss Rymer Maxwell, who had planned to go to England later in the month, has decided to leave earlier, and will take her departure from Hobart on Tuesday. During the Great War Miss Maxwell was an enthusiastic Red Cross worker in France and England and she hopes to take up war work again. She has been a member of the executive committee of the Red Cross Society in Hobart for many years, and has been a representative on the Joint State Council for Red Cross detachments. Another sphere of work in which Miss Maxwell displays much interest is the Australian Women's National League of Tasmania, of which she has been hon. treasurer for the past seven yearn, and previous to that she was a State vice president. To say farewell to her an impromptu dinner party was arranged by some of her friends. This took place at the Queen Mary Club, and among others who were gathered together at very short notice were Mesdames W. W. Giblin, W. J. Campbell, T. W. H. Clarke (Campbell Town), C. E. Webster, James Murray, W. Wolf hagen, C. N. Atkins, Alex. McGregor, and Miss E. L. Webster. Miss Maxwell was to have accompanied her niece, Mrs Roy Lethbridge, as far as Malta, but owing to the out- break of war Mrs. Lethbridge has cancelled her return voyage overseas, and with her two children will stay in Hobart indefinitely.
