- Andrew of Patrick Gray and Annabella Forbes.[1]
Andrew Gray, 2nd Lord Gray[2] was the son of Patrick Gray, Master of Gray and Annabella Forbes.
He married, firstly, Janet Keith, daughter of Sir Robert de Keith and Janet Seton, circa March 1463/64. They had issue:
1 Patrick, 3rd Lord Gray[3] d. Apr 1541
2 Isobel, m. Alexander Stratoun of Lauristoun[3]
3 Elizabeth[3]> d. c 1526
He married, secondly, Lady Elizabeth Stewart, daughter of John Stewart, 1st Earl of Atholl and Lady Eleanor Sinclair, before 1483.[4] They had issue:
1 Robert, d. 1513 at Flodden[3]
2 Gilbert, of Buttergask[3] d. 1541[5]
3 Andrew, of Muirtown[3] d. b 13 Apr 1541
4 Edward[3]
5 Isobel, 'the Younger,' m. 1st Sir James Scrimgeour of Hudhop, constable of Dendee about 1495, m. 2 bef. 1510, Adam Crichton of Ruthven, m. 3rd bef. 1521, Sir John Campbell of Lundy.
6 Janet, m. 1st John Charters of Cathelgurie, m. 2nd Alexander keith, son of Sir William Keith of Inverugie, m. 3rd Sir David Wemyss of that Ilk, d. Oct 1539[3]
7 Marjory, m. 1st Kinninmont of that Ilk, m. 2nd Silvester Rattry of Craighall[3]

He married, thirdly, Margaret Houston after 1497.[3]
He married, fourthly, Lady Elizabeth Hay, daughter of William Hay, 1st Earl of Erroll and Lady Beatrix Douglas.[6][7]
He also had a natural daughter:
1 Isobel
He succeeded to the title of 2nd Lord Gray circa 1469.He held the office of Hereditary Sheriff of Forfar in 1488.<
He took part in the rebellion by King James IV against his father, King James III.
He held the office of Justiciary General North of Forth in 1489. He was invested as a Privy Counsellor in Scotland.> He held the office of Justiciary General South of Forth in 1506.
He died in February 1513/14.

• On 17 June 1494 Walter Ogilvy of Boyne, John Ogilvy of Inverquharity, John Eskine junior of Dun, John Dempster of Auchterless, Archibald Ogilvy and Thomas Gray of Ballindean saw a charter at Edinbugh dated 6 Jun 1494 between Andrew Lord Gray and Thomas Gray oy (grandson) and Archibald Ogilvy oy (grandson) to Andrew Lord Gray of the manor and lands of Kynnard.[8]
