• Notes

Story by his granddaughter Rona M. Joyner (nee Hull).  Written 13 Jun 2009 My grandfather, G.W. Munro Hull, died in his grass thatched hut which was located on the property of his daughter and son-in-law, Ruth Hull and Frank Roberts, near the Jetty on Munna Creek, Tewantin. Previously he had refused to attend the wedding of his daughter Ruth to Frank Roberts because he opposed their marriage as he did not believe Frank was a suitable husband.  That's why he lived in the shack and not in their house. Munro Hull died in his sleep around about 3am from a heart attack. This time was indicated because he was already dead at 4am when his fishing buddies came to collect him to go fishing. As far as I know he is buried in the cemetery at Tewantin.
