  Geoffrey II "Ferreol" Count of the Gâtinais and Château-Landon was born about 1004.1 He was the son of Geoffrey III "Ferole" Count of the Gâtinais and Château Laudon and Beatrice de Mâcon.2,1,3 Geoffrey II "Ferreol" Count of the Gâtinais and Château-Landon was also known as Aubri-Geoffrey II de Château-Landon. He succeeded to the throne in 1034 as the Count of the Gâtinais.2,3 In 1035 Geoffrey married Ermengarde of Anjou, daughter of Falk III "the Black" Count of Anjou and Hildegarde of Metz.2,1,4,3 Geoffrey II "Ferreol" Count of the Gâtinais and Château-Landon died before 1 April 1046.
