  MRS. BASSETT DICKSON Respected Richmond Resident Mrs. Janet Lucy Dickson, who died at her residence at Lindisfarne last week, was a respected resident of the Richmond district for many years. She was the daughter of the late Major-General Murray-McGregor, of the Bombay Cavalry Regiment, Indian Army, and she married Mr. Bassett Dickson. She lived at Glen Ayr, Richmond, for nearly 50 years.' A few months ago Mr. and Mrs. Dickson moved to Lindisfarne. Until recently she took an active part in the social life of the district. The only son, Mr. Roy Dickson, and only daughter, Mrs. A. F. Jeanneret, reside at Lindis- farne. The funeral took place at St. Luke's cemetery, Richmond, on Thursday. The services at the church and grave- side were conducted by the Rev. J. E. Atkins. Tho chief mourners were Mr. Roy Dickson (son), Masters Bassett and Jock Dickson (grandsons), Mr. A. F. Jeanneret (son-in-law), and Miss Annie Dickson (sister-in-law). The funeral arrangements were carried out by Pierce J. Keating.
