  MRS. GEORGE WALTER. Eighty Years of Age To-morrow. Mrs. George Walter, of Hobart, will celebrate her 80th birthday anniversary to-morrow. Born at Geeveston, she is the second daughter of the late Stephen Geeves, who with his brothers, John and Osborne, founded Geeveston. In 1877 she married George, second son bf the late J. H. Walter, of Wattle Grove, Huon. Mrs. Walter has lived for 50 years at 60 Mount Stuart Road. Her husband, who died 12 years ago, was chairman of the Mount Stuart Board, now defunct. There are six children, 10 grandchildren, and three great   grandchildren. Mrs. Walter is in possession of all her faculties, and talks in a most interesting way of the early history of Geeveston and Mount Stuart.
