Thomas Dargin 1772-1824

Tombstone reads as follows:-

This Tomb was erected to the memory of Thomas DARGIN

Who departed this life the 8th day of July 1824 Age 52 years

A grevious painfull illness gave him the fatal blow

The stroke alas, was certain, but its effects were slow

Wasting with lingering pain, death found him oppressed

Pityed his worn sign and kindness gave him rest.
